Easy Fish Tacos
A true weeknight dinner hero! Frozen fish fillets (or shrimp) layered with creamy slaw and your favorite toppings for a lightning fast dinner the whole family will love.
What You’ll Need
Frozen breaded fish fillets, fish sticks or breaded shrimp
¼ head of cabbage, shredded finely
1 carrot, grated
¼ onion, finely minced
⅓ cup mayonnaise
1 lime, juiced
Salt, to taste
8 small corn or flour tortillas
Sour cream, lime wedges, sliced avocado, pickled onions, salsa, hot sauce and cilantro for topping
How To Make It
Bake the fish/shrimp according to package instructions.
While the fish is baking, make the slaw. Combine cabbage, carrot and onion in a medium bowl. In a separate small bowl, mix mayonnaise, lime juice and salt to form a smooth dressing.(Optional: add hot sauce to give it a kick). Toss the dressing with the cabbage and set in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
Heat tortillas on a warm skillet before filling with the fish and slaw, plus your favorite toppings. Enjoy!
