This ground pork stir-fry is the kind of dinner that comes together fast but still feels homemade and special. The ingredients are easy to grab at Birch, and the sweet-savory soy-honey sauce gives it a little extra punch. Brown the pork with garlic and ginger, toss in your favorite veggies, and cook until everything’s perfectly tender-crisp. Spoon it over rice or quinoa, and you’ve got a warm, cozy meal with zero fuss.

What You’ll Need

  • 1 lb ground pork

  • 2 cloves garlic minced

  • 2 Tablespoons fresh ginger, minced

  • 2 Tablespoons neutral cooking oil

  • ¼ cup soy sauce or tamari

  • 1 teaspoon honey

  • ½ cup chicken broth (low sodium)

  • Red pepper flakes or chili sauce (optional)

  • Chopped vegetables such as cabbage, broccoli, green beans, bell peppers, zucchini, mushrooms, etc.

  • Kosher salt & black pepper, to taste

  • Rice or quinoa for serving

How To Make It

  1. Combine soy sauce, honey, chicken broth and (optional) red pepper flakes to a bowl and mix well. Set aside.

  2. Brown pork in a wok or large pan over medium-high heat. Add garlic and ginger halfway through cooking, and drain off fat as needed. Remove pork to a plate.

  3. Add 1-2 tablespoons of cooking oil to pan and add vegetables. Stir fry until vegetables are just tender but still crisp, adding small amounts of water as necessary to prevent burning.

  4. Return pork to pan with vegetables and add the soy sauce mixture. Cook, stirring for 2-3 minutes, adjusting with salt & pepper as needed.

  5. Serve atop rice or quinoa.
