Nancy works closely with leadership and staff to support the business systems that keep Birch running smoothly. Her work spans multiple areas of the organization, helping ensure that long-term planning remains grounded and actionable.

She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Portland. She also holds a certificate in Mergers & Acquisitions through the AM&AA. Her background includes many years of experience in both the private sector and nonprofit organizations. She was a partner in a CPA firm and currently owns a boutique consulting practice, supporting organizations through periods of growth and development.

Throughout her career, she has helped teams strengthen how their work is sustained, with a focus on financial responsibility and clear decision-making.
